The project was developed closely between Focoos AI and InspectionDrone, resulting in a highly tailored solution aligned with operational needs. Insights gathered from drone operators and municipalities influenced the model training process and supported the decision to deploy the solution on-premise to ensure robust data privacy. Additionally, this led Focoos AI to integrate a groundbreaking feature into its web platform that enables independent model retraining. This adaptation empowers InspectionDrone to stay flexible, continuously improving and maintaining relevance in a dynamic environment.
In collaboration with InspectionDrone, we exploited the Focoos AI platform to develop a custom computer vision model tailored for public infrastructure monitoring. Insights gathered from municipalities and drone operators guided the creation of a model optimized for automating defect detection from drone imagery. The project also involved designing service workflows, deploying the model on-premise to ensure data privacy, and integrating a feature for independent model retraining to enhance adaptability over time. This comprehensive solution enables InspectionDrone to deliver precise, actionable reports to municipalities, ensuring faster and more efficient infrastructure maintenance.
